Wasiona Studio Unveils AI-Driven Game Mechanics in Ascend the End AMA Session
Aleksandar Bedov, CEO of Serbia-based Wasiona Studio, detailed the Web3 integration and AI infrastructure of their flagship extraction shooter Ascend the End during a June 26 AMA. The eight-year-old studio, which entered blockchain gaming in 2021, is leveraging existing language models to create dynamic in-game systems rather than developing proprietary AI.
The Game Master system—a real-time decision engine—orchestrates missions, events, and rewards while generating social media content. Bedov emphasized this approach avoids competing with large LLM developers: "We create advanced gaming solutions based on existing models," he stated, noting the team's focus on enhancing player interaction through tokenization and procedural generation.
